During October 2006, 10 elementary school English teachers from Sachsen-Anhalt visited Columbia. During their visit, they stayed with elementary school teachers from the Columbia area and observed and assisted in their classes, as the undergraduate German students did the last summer in Germany. In addition to their school visit, we had a wonderful time introducing our guests to Columbia and surrounding areas, such as Charleston. They have now returned to their English classes with many happy memories to share about South Carolina and their time here. Here are a few photos from the trip:
