News About the BSG List-Serv For BSG Members!!!

Greetings BSG members,

The Biogeography Specialty Group has run a forum via the Listserv for the past 12 years, set up initially by Henri Grissino-Mayer at the request of Sally Horn. The BSG would like to thank Henri for an amazing 12 years of service managing the forum!

With updates to the AAG services, BSG members will now continue the BSG forum solely via the AAG central website.

If you have not yet been using the AAG BSG forum, here is how it works (directions written by Robert Andelman of the AAG):

The new AAG BSG News and Discussion Forum List-serv: This new Members Only benefit enhances the ability of the Biogeography Specialty Group to communicate with their members, and allows group members to communicate easily amongst themselves. You can access this new service through the AAG website by logging in with your existing AAG login ID and password. Once you've logged in, please review the brief instruction document posted in the download section of the Specialty Group News and Discussion Forums area.

If you would like to post to a Forum, simply log in and follow the on-screen instructions. You may manage the way you receive posts and news items by logging in and indicating whether you would like to receive emails as they are generated, daily digests, once-a-week summaries, or no emails at all (in which case you must use the AAG website to access the Forums). You may update your preferences at will, so feel free to try more than one option to see what
works best for you.
