join here (upper left corner) to form the Congaree
which flows south.  The conference and campus
center are up on the high terraces at the position
shown by the 'X'.

Williams Bryce football stadium.  Spurier-mania has gripped Cola.
The conference will not be on a football weekend, so the level of
activity downtown should be somewhat calm.  In fact, we are meeting
during fall break so it will be down-right quiet on campus.
