GPS point data collected in May and June, 2006 in Yuba, Bear, and Feather River basins
by A. James, S. Ghoshal, and J. Touzel

Three shape files and their corresponding dbf, shx and sbn files are enclosed: Trimble, Garmin1, and SampleSites. The Combined.mxd file maps all three data sets.
Two data sets are direct dumps from the gps receivers:
  - Trimble.shp - Collected with a Trimble Pro XR 12-channel differential receiver
  - Garmin1.shp - Collected with a Garmin handheld 76 reciever, WAAS enabled.
Agreement between the Garmin and the more precise Trimble is very good.
  - SampleSites.shp - Points drawn from the two GPS data files where samples were collected.
