The Judgment and Decision Making Lab at the University of South Carolina consists of five Pentium class PCs for data collection, each with 15 in. trinatron monitors and sound blaster sound cards. Data analysis is conducted on two 233 mhz Pentium II workstations equipped with Windows NT 4.0 and connected to the University's local area network. Additional lab hardware includes a LaserJet 5 laser printer, a HP OfficeJet 550 for scanning and color inkjet printing, and a Zip drive for data backup. Available software includes Microsoft Office 98 and SYSTAT 7.0. Both SPSS for Windows and SAS 6.12 are available through the campus network. Experiment creation is currently conducted with Turbo Pascal and Borland's Delphi visual programing language for Windows. E-mail and web access are provided by the University for all students and faculty.
